Qigong - 1:1 Lessons

I offer 1:1 Qigong lessons that are customized to individual needs (for example: pain/stress relief, burnout, mobility issues, energy, calming, emotional regulation). You will come away with a sequence of movement, breathing, and self-massage practices to support you in daily life.

Qigong - Upcoming Workshops

3-part Workshop Series: GROUND / SPACE / CENTER

What does it mean to be “grounded?” To be “spacious?” To be “centered?” These words have a poetic, metaphorical meaning. But they are also real, physical experiences that arise from our relationship to our bodies, to gravity, and to the environments through which we move. Whether these relationships are conscious and harmonious or not has a significant impact on how we feel.

In this 3-part series, we will explore “Ground,” “Space,” and “Center” through body-meditations and movement. Practices from Qigong, the Alexander Technique, and Mindfulness will be explored in a creative and experiential way. You will leave with a new sense of being grounded, spacious, and centered, as well as practical perspectives that can make living in your body more comfortable, connected, and free!

About Qigong:

Qigong, or “Qi (Life energy) cultivation,” is one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It includes practices such as movement, breathwork, self-massage, and meditation. Qigong is well-known for its many health benefits, including: reducing stress and pain; increasing mobility, coordination, and energy; balancing the nervous system; improving immune function; supporting healing; and the list goes on! The philosophy can also change how we approach our entire lives - away from burnout, and toward sustainable well-being and ease.

These Qigong classes are non-dogmatic, meditative, and include joyful practices for daily life.
